Brie & Pastry
1/2 Pkg.Puff Pastry, frozen 1/3 CupCranberries, frozen
1 Med.Egg 1/4 CupAlmonds, toast & sli
1 Tbsp.Water 1 RoundBrie Cheese
1/2 CupApricot Preserves To tasteSalt & Pepper
Thaw pastry sheet. Heat oven to 400*F. Unfold and roll pastry into 14 inch square. Cut corners to make a circle. Spread preserves within 1 inch of pastry edge. Sprinkle dried/softened cranberries & almonds over preserves. Top with brie round.
Mix egg and water - brush a portion over edge of pastry. Fold two opposite sides over cheese. Trim remaining two sides to 2 inch from edge of cheese. Fold these two sides onto the round - press edges to seal.
Place seam side down on baking sheet. Decorate top with pastry scraps if desired. Brush with remaining egg mixture. Bake 20 min. or until golden brown. Let stand 1 hr. Serve with crackers.
