Crispy Parmesan Toasts
4 SlicesCountry Bread, thick
1/2 CupParmesan, grated
1½ Tbsp.Fresh Marjoram
1/4 Tsp.Fresh ground Pepper
Prepare oven broiler. On ungreased baking sheet, toast each side of bread until crisp (1-3 min per side). Sprinkle tops with parmesan, marjoram & pepper. Return to broiler until cheese melts & begins to bubble (1-3 min) - serve warm.
*Use any peasant bread for the toasts. Whole wheat variety are the best.
